What is the industrial style?

Brick walls, plumbing pipes, aged wood and concrete floors are typical elements of this interior style. A true reminder of the era of industrialization and the factory, the industrial style is characterized by sturdy furniture with clean lines, without frills or unnecessary decorations. There's also a vintage feel to it, with wear and signs of age (true or false) also sought after in the furniture.

The furniture

Industrial-style furniture, usually made of wood and steel, has a more robust side that is reminiscent of the working world. Clean lines and solid, durable furniture. Worn and vintage looks such as peeling paint and slightly rusty metal are also popular.

Rolling coffee tables and leather club chairs are commonplace in industrial lounges. However, kitchen stools and chairs can be made of metal.

Colors

Industrial style colors tend to be quite dark. Black, shades of gray, rust, brick red, various shades of brown, and a little white or beige here and there to brighten it up.

More modern styles may use slightly lighter colors to warm up the atmosphere, bright reds, yellows or other oranges.

lights and objects

Light is also important. So there are spotlights on the ceiling, but mostly industrial lamps or just hanging bare light bulbs.
