Comment aménagé son intérieur avec le style scandinave - Modilu

SCANDINAVIAN STYLE

Scandinavian design has been timeless since the 1950s and stands out from other styles of furniture with its simple, functional and timeless design.

Natural materials and soft colors create a bright, welcoming and comfortable interior.

What is the Scandinavian style?

The Scandinavian style is characterized by furniture and objects with clean lines, a rustic look, the use of natural materials such as wood, bright colors and open and bright spaces.

Wood, especially bright colors, are the big stars of the Scandinavian style. Mainly used for furniture, but also for floors. Also available in wool, leather and fur.

The use of bright colors, mainly white, creates a bright and warm atmosphere. Add a few modern and creative accessories, like floor lamps in copper and pastel tones, and you're done.

I furnish:

Nordic style furniture combines comfort, ergonomics and aesthetics. Their functionality is essential. The furniture is elegant, sober and without frills. To recreate this style at home, prefer furniture in light wood, leather or fabrics such as linen or cotton. Think sofas in graphic fabrics and furniture in light wood, stucco and pastel. Furniture with round or plug-in legs is another Scandinavian style reminiscent of the 1950s.

Color

In terms of color, white dominates in some variations, followed by various shades of gray, beige, sky blue and pastel colors.
Add lively and bright colors to accessories, cushions and rugs to give dynamism to your decoration.
To add a chic look to your room, you can opt for darker colors like black or gray.

Lights and Objects

Brightness is very important in the Nordic style. I try to leave enough space for natural light and interior lighting. Thus the curtain is not opaque, it is light to let the light through. Choose a color such as bright white to reflect this, and place lamps, lights and candles to illuminate the interior.

The walls are adorned with paintings and posters, some graphic and colorful, others with a more sober or retro look. A patterned blanket or rug can be hung on the wall to add color and warmth.
